Who I am

RunYourPTA is run by me, Oliver Bundy, trading as KaiForge Digital in Stafford, Staffordshire. You can email me at support@kaiforge.digital.

What I collect and why

If you fill in the contact form, I get your name, email, school and message, plus your phone number and role if you add them. It comes to me as an email so I can reply to you. Nothing is saved on the website itself.

If you press "Send on WhatsApp", the same details go into a WhatsApp message for you to send. Once you've sent it, WhatsApp's privacy policy applies, and we'll be able to see each other's phone numbers.

I can use your details because you've asked me to get in touch (the legal term is "legitimate interests"). If we don't end up working together, I delete your enquiry after 12 months.

The website keeps a basic record of visits (IP address, page, time and browser) to keep it running and secure. That's deleted after 30 days.

There are no cookies, no tracking and no analytics.

Who else sees it

The site is hosted on a UK cloud server. Form emails are sent through Resend, using their servers in Ireland, so your details stay within the UK and EU.

I don't sell or share your details with anyone else.

If your PTA uses RunYourPTA

Parents' details on a PTA's site belong to that PTA, and the PTA should have its own privacy notice. I just store them for the PTA, and I don't use them for anything else. If you're a parent with a question about your data, ask your PTA first.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything I hold about you. Just email me and I'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
